FAQ
The questions I answer every week.
Straight answers on cost, comfort, downtime, and safety — the same ones I give in the treatment room.
- Do I need a consultation before treatment?
- Every first visit starts with one. For most clients we can consult and treat in the same appointment — if I need more time or a different plan, I will say so before anything is injected.
- What does treatment cost?
- Wrinkle relaxers are priced per unit and fillers per syringe, so cost depends entirely on your anatomy and goals. You will get an exact number before we begin, and you are free to stop there.
- Will people know I had something done?
- That is the outcome I work against. I dose conservatively, build gradually, and would rather see you back for a small top-up than overcorrect once.
- Is it safe to be treated by a nurse injector?
- Yes. I am a licensed nurse injector practicing under the oversight of a medical director, using sterile technique, documented consent, and hyaluronidase on hand to reverse filler if it is ever needed.
- How long do results last?
- Wrinkle relaxers generally hold three to four months, and longer with Daxxify for suitable candidates. Fillers last six to eighteen months depending on the product and the area. Kybella results are permanent once the fat is gone.
- Does it hurt?
- Injections feel like brief pinches. Topical numbing, ice, and lidocaine-containing fillers make it very manageable — most clients are surprised by how quick it is.
- How much downtime should I plan for?
- None for wrinkle relaxers. Filler can swell or bruise for one to three days, Kybella swells for several days, peels flake for up to a week, and laser leaves temporary redness. I will always tell you the honest timeline before you book around an event.
- How far ahead of a wedding or event should I book?
- Two weeks minimum for wrinkle relaxers, four for filler, and six or more for a peel or laser series so we have room to refine.
- Can I combine treatments in one visit?
- Often, yes — relaxers and filler pair well. Laser and peels are usually scheduled separately so your skin is not doing two things at once.
- What if I do not like my result?
- Come back. I include a two-week follow-up for relaxers at no charge, and filler can be dissolved. Nothing here is a permanent decision except Kybella, which is why I am careful about who is a candidate.
- Do you treat men?
- Regularly. Dosing and injection patterns differ for masculine anatomy, and I plan accordingly.
- Is there anything that disqualifies me?
- Pregnancy or nursing, certain neuromuscular conditions, active skin infections, and some medications. We cover your full history at the consult before any treatment.
